Abstract

Allama Sayyid Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah, the Shiite jurist, commentator, writer, and poet, recited his poems on various topics. One of his most important poetic themes is the manifestations of the monotheistic view in the poet's vision. The author of the article intends to deal with the study and criticism of the scholar's poems, based on his monotheistic ideas, and to discover the rhetorical aesthetics used in his poems. The poet's view of God, Glory be to Him, is a special look that contains the depth of what he used to feel, live, feel, and see in the Great Creator. The researcher concluded the poetic relationship of Allama Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah with God Almighty in the following axes: God's love, reverence, and submission to God Almighty and acknowledgment of His will; God Almighty is the secret of the universe and its primary cause, and the poet's longing to meet the Beloved; Sayyid Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah cared about nature and its manifestations such as waterfalls, springs, water and roses, and he expressed that in his poetry, because the divine beauty is manifested in nature through beings as it is manifested in people, and his poems are full of rhetorical images such as metaphors, similes and repetitions ...., and among the axes that are manifested God Almighty in it is supplication and monologues, and the poet hopes in these supplications from God Almighty as a place of cold certainty. In his study, the researcher relied on the analytical descriptive approach, as it is based on extrapolating the verses that indicate the poetic relationship of the scholar Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah with God Almighty, and then analyzing it from a literary and rhetorical point of view, studying it and its Qur’anic references, and we identified from his collections “Poems of Islam and Life” in order to conclude a tangible result.
