Abstract

In the light of the results of the current study, the following conclusions were reached: 1- The information processing strategy has preference in increasing the collection and retention of information among second-grade intermediate students in the Arab-Islamic history subject. 2- The use of the information processing strategy in teaching leads to the development of students' skills, raising the educational level, and understanding and retrieving the study material more than the usual method. 3- There is a desire among second-grade students to use new strategies in teaching, including the information processing strategy. 4- The researcher noticed that the use of the information processing strategy increases motivation for learning and supports it.
