Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of investment in knowledge capital in the shift towards academic leadership for higher education institutions, which is one of the competitive strategic goals. The research begins with building a model about the relationship between investment in knowledge capital and academic leadership. The study was applied to a sample of professors. University students, relying on the random sampling method in collecting data, then testing the hypotheses using a deductive method, and arriving at conclusions, the most important of which is that paying attention to the knowledge capital represented by university professors and improving it would reflect positively in achieving academic leadership.
